Artist's Bio - Whimsy by Crystal
Hi and welcome to my little whimsical world of tomato men, cupcake fairies and little creepy things that go bump in the night.
A little about me.....I'm from a small town in Indiana; I live with my Hubby Jeremy and 3 wonderful children. I love old rusty things and found objects, I try to incorporate them in many of my dolls. Most nights you'll find me sketching up little characters to bring to life. I draw inspiration from everyday happenings, from laying on a quilt at the park watching the ants in grass to that awesome chocolate cupcake that I can't have.
My dolls have been featured in the Fall 2015 and Summer 2016 issues of "Prims" magazine. They have evolved over the last 11 years into the whimsy little treasures of today and I couldn't be happier. I love each and everyone. I'm a silly girl and I think that part of me is well portrayed in them.
