ALTERED FRAME AND HAND TINTED PHOTOGRAPH OF BEAUTIFUL MONA G DATED 1910

Beautiful fancy gold tone frame measuring approx. 6” x 4” surrounds a beautiful real photo portrait of Mona G., LHS 1910. I embellished this flea market found (not antique) frame with a gorgeous Victorian era rose gold colored brooch with an onyx and rhinestone center. To pick up the black and rhinestone I added an antique button to the center at the bottom, and I added white glass links from a vintage broken Kramer bracelet I found. I ever so slightly tinted Mona’s photo with brown to her hair, pink to her cheeks, gold to her necklace and blue to her dress. The tinting is so slight you would never know unless you really looked at the photo. Mona is just so young, innocent and delicate I did not want to overdo the color I just wanted her to stand out a little. Mona would be so happy to grace your bedside table or take her place on your photo shelf as an instant ancestor to your family. I wish I knew more about Mona but that is all the information that was written on the back of her photo and that I picked her photo up in a Maine antique shop. I do know she is so she will be a welcome addition to your home. Her ethereal beauty has not faded in the last 100+ years!

This frame is on the heavy side, there is glass in the front and a stand in the back.
