Mama made this sweet liddle ole bear fer me outta her ole fer coat. Even tho it wasn’t reel fer it was perty and it was her only est coat she ever had outta fer. I jes loves him soooo much even tho he’s got holes in him that lets the wood chips out. Mama done sewed thos ole holes up lots a times but then comes another’n. Mama says that’s ok caus’n it jest shows how much I showed him I lov’d him.

I named him Chester caus that is my papas name and he is old and all his clothes have hols. He is leven enches long

If ‘n I wants to, he can move his head an arms an legs. Mama put some kind a hom made things in ther to let em move. She calls em joints.

Daddy put stuffin’s in there outta wood shavins. You can see it sortta peekin outta holes sometimes. Mama tied a old rusty key around his neck with a piece a old rag rug we tore up. There’s also a hole in his belly that s’pose to look like a kee hole. Mama says ole time bears had music inside and the kee was ter wind em up sos they played pretty music. Magine that!! A bear that played reel music.
