Due to certain design elements, this pattern is not suitable for Aida type fabric.

ABEL’S TOMBSTONE SAMPLER


NEW Cross Stitch Pattern Abel Sherman is one of my late ancestors. The text including the presumably added words/letters after the fact is as it appeared on his original tombstone.
The use of “f” instead of “s” is, as I understand it quite common for the period.
Model stitched on 28ct “Tarnish” hand-dyed Cashel Linen from Picture This Plus.
