Artist's Bio - Angela Clark of Poppywise Productions

Hi there, and welcome to my little corner of the PFATT Marketplace!

I'm a Texas girl, born and raised. After meeting my husband, I relocated to Northeast Arkansas in 2005. Dogwoods and daffodils were a big change from cactus and cattle, but I felt right at home in the middle of the woods and inspired by the mountainous environment.

After my son Paladin was born, I needed to find a way to bring in extra income. I had always been artsy and crafty, so I decided to start a home-based business creating hand-made goods. My husband Jim gifted me a sewing machine for Christmas, and from there I taught myself how to sew and how to paint, and began the life of Poppywise Productions.

I mainly create One of a Kind Art Dolls, though I do enjoy producing primitives as well. My work ranges from Dapper Rabbits to Ethereal Ghosts, with a little bit of everything in between. I’m especially fond of Halloween, and specialize in spooky sweeties. My dolls have been published several times in Prims magazine and once in Art Doll Quarterly. I’m working towards gallery representation this year and in the future.

Thank you for popping in today. I look forward to sharing my work with you!
