The Frog Prince…..

My interpretation of this lovely fairy tale was first sketched out upon my pocket sized notepad whilst sipping tea in a small café along a lonely Arizona highway. The 3 dimensional version is rendered here in paper clay over foam, wire and wood armatures, and painted with acrylics. They are poised upon a salvaged, polka dot painted wooden disk. After sealing, all were gently antiqued for a vintage look. Hours of happy sculpting went into this finished work.
