Patterson Crow
Andi--"Snowballs For Sale"
I wasn't going to have a Christmas doll in October, but I chickened out. It is, after all, only a month and a half away....please don't throw snowballs at me--that's Andi's job. Andi was none too happy about having to put on a party dress--she'd much rather be out in the snow, making and selling snowballs. Alas, her mother insisted she attend the Christmas party. But Andi, the entrepreneur, is taking her snowball bin along with her, hoping to sell a few along the way. Andi is an original Patterson Crow cloth sculpted doll, made of stained muslin with a separately attached head. Her facial features are hand drawn/painted and needlesculpted, and she has a full head of blonde mohair ringlet curls accented by a sage green headband (much to tomboy Andi's chagrin). Her dress is made of a Christmas-printed quilter's cotton in shades of beige, evergreen and cranberry. The collar is trimmed with sage green faux mink-lined ribbon and a snowflake button. Her underskirt is a simple evergreen floral cotton. Underneath she has on heavy, grungified osnaburg bloomers over painted yellow and green polka-dotted stockings and burgundy ballet slippers. Andi comes with a little galvanized tin wash bucket that is filled with evergreen and glitter-encrusted snowballs. She is 32" tall and will melt your heart in an instant!
Andi is $195 plus your choice of Priority or UPS Ground shipping.
Jane and Charlotte--
two out of three Weird Sisters My last Halloween hurrah; a three piece (Emily, the third sister, will be listed next week on ebay) inspired by the three witches of "Macbeth." These "weird sisters" are a little cuter than the literary ones (I chose not to give them beards), and make a wonderful set displayed together, but are perfectly happy to spread magic on their own. Jane and Charlotte are Patterson Crow original cloth-sculpted dolls--made of stained muslin with separately attached heads, hand drawn/painted and needlesculpted facial features. They measure between 22.5-23" tall not including their cinnamon-dusted witch hats, which add another 6 inches. Jane has crazy curly light brown hair and green eyes; Charlotte has a long platimun blonde braid and grey eyes. Charlotte and Jane are wearing complimentary outfits; black and white quilter's cotton pleated skirts in either polka dots or a ticking stripe. Their blouses are stained muslin the has been printed with the most recognizable witches' incantation from "Macbeth" ("Double, double, toil and trouble....") and the sleeves are gathered at the elbow with strands of orange raffia. Stitched to the backs of their blouses are silky black, gathered capes. They are both wearing simple muslin bloomers beneath their skirts, and have white and orange polka-dotted stockings with black ballet flats. These little witches are $115 each with your choice of Priority or UPS Ground shipping. Thank you for looking!
