BOO

This awesome sixties inspired Halloween art piece is all done on the top of a recycled tin (5.5” x 11“) which has been painted and trimmed out with pretty scrapbooking and wrapping papers and a fun decal on the front reading, ‘Trick or Treat’. Mounted on the lid is a gorgeous vintage doll head I acquired at a rummage sale! She has terrific reddish bee-hivey hair and I have given her a felt and lace neck wrap, some fun felt kitty ears and a pair of paper cats eye glasses! She is surrounded by vintage buttons, paper pieces and a wooden cat face with a hand painted face, and a paper party hat complete with pompom! Two painted wooden knobs hold floral wire that reaches up over top of these two silly characters into a lovely arch with some colour coordinating ribbon roses and an attached banner reading ‘BOO!’

I have signed and dated this on the bottom. This tin box does open up, and is also decorated somewhat inside, and is all ready to hold some sweet treats or surprises inside! I have already added one…a matching hang tag inside for you!!

This altered piece is all made up using a balsa wood box and an old fancy frame to create a unique shadowbox! The frame has been painted and the box covered in antique newspaper tidbits and some scrapbooking papers too! This measure's 4.5" x 7". I have adorned this box with a unique Halloween witch, made from a thrift store doll head attached to a wooden spool, then embellished in coordinating vintage papers, scrapbooking elements, ribbon pieces, a wooden star, some old buttons, pipecleaner bits, and even a fabric yo-yo circle from a tattered cushion!

This piece will come signed and dated on the bottom and I have attached a brass loop hanger to the back so she’s all ready to be displayed!

TRiCK oR TReaT

This fun and funky piece ( 4“ x 9“ ) consists of a recycled candy container which I have totally recovered in black and white polka dotted wrapping paper, a small swatch of colourful fabric, and a printed Halloween inspired decal reading, ‘Trick or Treat’. On top, I have mounted a ridiculously cute white ceramic owl, which was in his previous life, a salt shaker! He has been given a cone shaped paper hat complete with a pompom, pipecleaner surround, and even a jolly jack ‘o lantern from an old necklace!

This piece has been signed and dated on the bottom, and even decorated a bit on the inside….and I have already added a treat, a coordinating Halloween hang tag!!
