This wonderful Americana design is displayed with pride and glory. Sam is 22” tall, and dressed in a completely hand stenciled jacket and trousers.

I painted his trousers with red stripes on stained muslin and star hemline on each leg. They were made in the knicker fashion as they wore years ago. His jacket was stenciled with blue stars on stained muslin. He has matching cuffs in red stripes. I hand stitched completely around his jacket and it ties in the back as shown in the slideshow. He wears a star print shirt which is fabric.

Sam’s facial features were hand drawn on using artist’s colored pencils. He also has a pinch stitched nose and brows with a satin stitched red mouth between the felted on curly snow colored beard and mustache.

I also felted some of the same wool for hair underneath a paper hat made from a printed copy of the Declaration of Independence. It has a paper medallion in the center with a Stars N Stripes Forever novelty piece.

His painted on boots also have stitching separating the heels from the boot. Each boot has French knot faux button closures.

Lastly, He carries a separate satchel loaded with firecrackers, an Americana pinwheel and a USA rocket. I also made a 1776 shield which was hand stitched to the velveteen bag. It has a rusted wire hanger. Satchel is not permanently attached.

This design comes signed and dated as an original, one of a kind design.

Don’t think this 15” tall bat can’t harm a fly. Ohhh no! She will get you when you’re least expecting and you’ll never even know she’s bit you. But if she does, then you’re sure to have the Halloween spirit sooner than later.

Batzilla’s body is completely painted. Mostly black except for her face. It’s the makeup, ya know? Check out those mesmerizing eyes and those large fangs! Oh my!! Her eyes were hand drawn on using artist’s colored pencils and her lips and fangs were painted. She has a pinch stitched nose too.

She wears a festive pumpkin, moon and star print dress with mismatched vintage buttons down the bodice. I’ve also given her an auburn ruffle collar and sleeve edges. Her arms are stitched to her black wings.

Please note, she does not have legs. Batzilla is made with a hanger on the back of her wings to hang. She’d look adorable hanging in the perfect spot of your home. She comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind design.

Paul wants to share his bounty this Thanksgiving with the poor. He has been blessed with an array of vegetables in every color.

Paul’s 22” tall has been stuffed with a mixture of polyfil and rags for a great old fashioned look and feel. It was painted as well. He has a woolen hand stitched on face with French knot teeth and eyes.

Paul wears and adorable pilgrim outfit which was handstained and painted. I love how it turned out. I also designed a hat and belt with buckles. His painted on pilgrim style shoes have stitched on buckles as well.

He holds a single 5” ear of corn complete with husk and faux silk. A few transient black crows are hanging around hoping they can take part in the feast.
