21” tall Uncle Sam is reminding us to celebrate our freedom. He’s dressed in a blue woven shirt with blue star trim around the bottom, sleeves and down the front. His red/white/blue plaid vest ties up the front and is gathered around the back.
He has a stitched nose and mouth and pencil drawn on eyes. His beard is curly wool and he has soft white eyebrows and hair which is needlefelted to his head. On top of his head of white hair rests his plaid stovepipe style hat.
Sam’s all set to celebrate with his satchel of three firecrackers. Satchel hangs across his chest. In his hands he holds a banner which hangs from a stick. 4 ½ x 6” and reads “Celebrate Your Freedom”. I has a blue ticking style edge with handstitched on stars.

Blossom could hardly wait to give her mother this special woolen,4 ½ x 7” handstitched heart she made especially for her. She really thinks her mother is an angel. Aren’t all mothers angels?
Mother is 22” tall, wears a very nice black/white floral print. I have added some vintage edging on the sleeves and down the front of the bodice. Three mismatched buttons were handstitched down the front. She wears matching bloomers underneath.She has individually stitched fingers and separately attached thumbs. Her round head is handsculpted with stitched lips and separately attached eyelids. Her eyes were drawn using artists colored pencils in a deep blue shade.
Mother has dark brown curly wool hair which has been needlefelted all over her head. She wears a paper cone shaped hat covered with paper that almost matches her outfit exactly! I attached several paper rosettes and a button at the center. Black tinsel was added to the base of her hat.
Lastly her wings have been handstitched (a lot of detail here) scroll designs and stitched to her back. She also comes with a hanger on the back in case you’d like her to hang.

These four are just an example of some of them. They’re round like pumpkins but look like witches ..thus Witchkins. Different noses, mouths, eyes, but all have a collar, straw hair, pointy paper hat and ribbon ties with “Boo” stamped on one.
