Mustard Seed Originals
19” tall Queen of Hearts is a great design to decorate for Valentine’s Day. She has been made to hang, and would greet all your guests when hung in that perfect spot. She holds a 3”x 5” heart which was hand stitched in her hands. Her clothes are painted on with vintage buttons down the front of the bodice.
All queens wear a crown, and this is no exception. She has a crown of hearts and reads Queen of Hearts. She has a hand stitched nose, stitched lips and hand drawn on eyes.
She’s been heavily stained and comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind design.

23” tall (measuring from the top of her ears to the bottom of her feet) Vintage Bunny is my newest bunny design for Easter/Spring 2010. She is dressed in a wonderful vintage pink dress and bloomers fashioned from an old quilt top that was salvaged. There are a few blocks of lavender as well. I added three glass floral heart shaped buttons to the bodice.
Her body has been very aged with lots of mended and worn spots everywhere. Bunny’s been firmly stuffed with rags to give her that old fashioned look and feel of a treasured friend left behind many years ago. Her ears stand up and are wired inside so they can be posed if desired.
Bunny’s been heavily stained and comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind design.

This is quite an old Cupid. She’s 19” tall and has a story to tell. In 1876 she was a lovely, almost naked child flying to and fro, seeking lonely people that she can shoot her arrows at to make their lives happier. As you can see, time has taken it’s toll on this Cupid, but she still loves giving out Valentine hearts to special people in her life. She still wears the wings she was originally ordained with, however, she has added little red woolen hearts to cover up some of the very worn spots from wear and tear.
Cupid wears a red woolen suit with beige woolen hearts hand stitched down the front of her jacket to resemble buttons. She holds 2 red woven hearts, Be Mine and Valentine in her hands. Across her chest she wears a red woolen banner which has been needle felted to read “1876 Cupid”, the original banner she was presented on that special day.
She’s been firmly stuffed with rags and heavily stained. She is very primitive and old looking, just like she should be. She has a pinch stitched nose, primitive stitched eyes and mouth. Wool roving was used for her hair which is now covered by a hood attached to her jacket. These days her ears get cold a lot at this time of the year so I made her a hood. She has a hanging loop on the back, but just be careful and watch her because she has been known to still try to take flight ;-) Cupid comes signed/dated as an original, one of a kind design.
