AMERICANA MIXED MEDIA UNCLE SAM

From my head to my toes, I really do love the United States of America with all it’s beauty and goodness! This Uncle Sam hopefully shows some of the love of this country and the symbols that remind us of the greatness of where we live. Created using air dry clay over a foam star, this hand sculpted Uncle Sam was mounted on a hand painted 5” by &” frame that was backed with a vintage image of a collage of the Declaration of Independence, the Liberty Bell and the US flag. Such a fun piece to create, He will hang or lean so there are a multitude of ways he can be displayed. I hope you enjoy him as much as I did creating him.

UNCLE SAM GOURD ORNAMENT

Gourd ornaments are a fun challenge as I never quite know how they will look when done. This Uncle Sam was created using air dry clay over an egg shaped gourd. He has been hand painted with layers of color and dressed up with real wool curls for his hair and beard. He is about 5” tall from the tip of his hat to the bottom of his collar. All my pieces come signed and dated.
