TWO SPRING CANDY CUPS FOR MAY

”SIR JACK SPINNER”(Pumpkin) AND “JAKEY BOO” (Cat) CANDY CUPS

Halloween is in full swing at Monkey-Cats Studio again!
I am so happy to be back into the orange and black paints
that I created two new candy cups for PFATT to celebrate.
The first little character on a candy cup is “Sir Jack Spinner.”
Jack has a spinning eye that is said to be hypnotic to the
pumpkin ladies. Oh that Jack, he is a dandy

The second character is our cat, Jake, that I lovingly refer to as
“Jakey Boo”.
Jake has been portrayed in a variety of figures and paintings
and is a constant companion in the studio.

Both cups have scalloped borders at the top edge
And spider webs with a spider painted on the back.
This candy cups have hand-twisted black wire
handles to coordinate with the design.
The containers measure
2.25” to top of the cup (9” to the top of the wire handle) x 2.75” x 2.75”
The candy cups are made of paper mache,
are hand-painted in acrylic paints
and are sealed with a matte polymer varnish.
They will come signed, dated and numbered by me, Laurie Hardin
