~IT'S CHRISTMAS IN JULY~

from MammyLovesShortenin

"How I Spent My Summer Vacation"

Santa was looking forward to a little down-time over the summer, but this wasn't exactly what he had in mind!

Luckily, the jolly ole' fella can make the best of a bad situation because the good Doctor who fit him for the cast

thought it only fitting to decorate it like a candy cane.

When the gang at the North Pole heard about it, they stood in line to sign the cast - all NINE of them!

(Who would have ever thought reindeer had such good penmanship?)

Then they sent Rudolph out to buy a pick-me-up bouquet, but he came back with the perfect card for the occassion -

it reads "When you stumble, make it part of the dance".

Santa is my own crazy creation, made from stained muslin with clay over cloth painted facial features.

His hair and beard are beautiful white alpaca sheeps wool and his felt hat is accented with fur.

I created his clothing from top quality materials but his sweet little belly just can't seem to stay covered under that shirt!

Santa measures a smidge over 16" tall and comes with his own cane to hobble around.

This fella was crafted with much love and attention to detail

and would be a delightful addition to your Christmas (or year-round) collection.
