Oh my that was such a short Summer. I don't know if I am ready for the cold, rain and snow that soon will be upon us. Although I love all the Fall prims and Halloween prims are my favorite things to make.
This month I have this sweet 20"t. pumpkin/corn harvest doll. Her head is made from painted muslin, her face is hand stitched she has a little stick for her stem and a tuff of spanish moss on the top of her head.
Her body is made from a tiny black checked homespun that is rag stuffed. Her skirt is a harvest gold color with little black ears of corn. The apron is made from coffee stained muslin and has two ears of fabric sewn corn cobs tucked in the pockets.
Her arms and legs are sticks that have been primitively stitched into place. I have added a loop to her back so she can be displayed as soon as she arrives to her new prim home. She smells wonderful too!

I made her based on a design from Kentucky Primitives.
Thank you for stopping in and have a wonderful month.
