Jus B'Cus Primitives
Annie is a Jus B'cuz original. The bunny is a pattern from Bits of Cloth. Annie is made from muslin and partially rag stuffed so she has that nice heavy feel. She is 25.5" tall. Her face is hand stitched, she has only 1 olde button for her eye she lost the other one. Her dress is a sweet spring print of whimsy flowers and she is wearing her favorite rusty jingle bell necklace. Her lil bunny is just the sweetest thing she is made from warm & natural then painted and stained. She also has a hand stitched face. She is mounted on an olde wood bobbin and is embellished with Sweet Annie and a piece of hand dyed fuchsia cheesecloth. Maggie This is a wonderful set from which I used 3 different patterns. Maggie is a pattern from Hickety Pickety she is 23"t. made from muslin, her face is partially painted brown along with the tips of her paws. She has jointed arms & legs and she is partially rag stuffed. Her nose is hand stitched, her eye's are olde buttons and she has sisal for whiskers. Her blouse is a yellow print and the jumper is an olde fashion garden print, her scarf is a piece of hand dyed green cheesecloth. Her lil chick is from Bits of Cloth she is 5" l., and made from yellow wool felt, her eye's are seed beads, and her legs are rusty square nails, I embellished her with some vintage tinsel. The basket is a Netty pattern about 14"t.including the wire handle. I used a calico green grass print and a red polka dot which matches nicely with her jumper. It is stuffed with rags and spanish moss. I added 4 pastel paper Mache eggs that are embellished with German glass glitters and added a bunny tag to the handle.
