Folk Art Fairy ~Esther Eastly~

Meet Esther Eastly. She's the fairy in charge of painting and decorating all the Easter Eggs. Believe me, that's a huge job! As you can see, she's all ready to decorate her next egg.

Ester was created by me, Kim Owens, using my own hand made paper clay. Once cured, she was then hand painted using acrylic paint. Chalks and oils were used to add highlights and shadows. Antiquing medium was then used to bring out all the details. Finally a satin sealer was applied to protect the paint and keep the colors vibrant for years to come.

Esther's shoes were made using custom colored polymer clay. Her wings and paint brush handle were created using rusty wire and rusty tin.

Esther was created in my smoke free studio in sunny California. She is 4 inches long by three inches wide and will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.

Meet Felicity. She's the Domestic Doddess of Gardening. She does her gardening as she does all her domestic endevours, with flair. Which is why she's dressed in her finest.
