This little brown bear is 8” tall Eat Cake! one-of-a-kind bear and is made of hand-dyed brown kid mohair. This little bear looks just like an old bear you find in the attic. He was put away by his owner Sally when she outgrew all her silly toys. She placed her little bracelet with her name engraved on it and a 1955 date engraved on the back. He has an old ribbon around his neck. He looks so sad without his Sally. He is completely hand-sewn from my original pattern, with a slight hump on his back just like the old bears. He has gone through multiple steps of an aging process to get just the right aged well-loved look. He even has some light almost off-white faded spots that look so cute! I hand sew all my little guys and girls because I feel that it adds a little soul for the bear. I use a variety of stuffing to make my bears come to life. There is cotton in the legs for the lumpy feel, wool in the arms and head for the snuggly feel, cluster fill for stability in some areas, steel shot for the weight, and finally wood wool in the tummy for that vintage squishy feel. It really is a system! Comes with an original Eat Cake! tag with a vintage picture of Sally. If you choose to adopt one of my little bears please remember that they are for adults only. There are far too many parts and pieces that children may swallow.
