This darling Vintage inspired Chick Easter Basket/Candy Container was created from a hardshell round Gourd.I cut a hole for his mouth and sculpted a darling little beak and face. As you can see, his mouth is wide open to tuck away some yummy Easter treats. His mouth opening is 41/2 inches wide. The inside of his mouth can hold several bags of yummy wrapped chocolate eggs, if desired. I used an air dry clay for his features and painted him in acrylic paints. He has a handmade wire and clay handle. He has been sealed inside and out. signed and dated by me, the artist, Diane MacNaughtan. He measures, 11 inches tall including his handle and 61/2 inches wide. Only wrapped candy should go inside this basket.

This Vintage inspired Mama Bunny and her sweet little offspring is one of my fully sculpted pieces. She was sculpted with durable Apoxie Sculpt and Paper mache over a wooden armature. She measures 17 inches tall and is loaded with detail. I have painted her in acrylic paintsand aged for vintage appeal. She wears a tea - dyed cotton, embroided shall.
