To all my Whimsie Lovers and Collectors:
As many of you know, I've been through quite an ordeal in the past 2 years with my father's passing and the full-time care of my Mom. There have been a lot of hills and deep valleys which have almost broken my wings and brought a lot of unhappiness to my husband and children. Finally, I believe we have turned a corner with the help of Medicaid and an exceptional Assisted Living which we moved Mom into this past weekend. I am so thankful, and been given a renewed sense of hope.
I would love to believe I will bounce back like nothing ever happened, however I must be realistic and allow myself some time to heal my wings and my spirit. I truly hope to be "back to normal" in the next couple of months. It is important to me for you all to know how much your appreciation of my art kindles my heart and helps me believe that what I do, really does matter! Hopefully these wings will lift sooner rather than later....
