Serenity is another of the Snow cousins. She is a girl who likes her pretty things. She is sewn from heavy muslin, stuffed, painted, sanded & stained with walnut ink. She is a round head doll & her long neck is supported with a wooden dowel inside, so she can sit up straight & tall. She has graceful, curved arms & legs that bend at the knee. Her ‘carrot’ nose is stuffed fabric, her mouth is stitched with black pearl cotton & her eyes are painted a dreamy blue.

Serenity loves vintage & it shows in her clothes. Her pantaloons are dark muslin trimmed in a vintage, handmade lace. Her dress is a winter white wool with a wide vintage, handmade lace collar accented by a vintage white silk seam binding bow with a pearl & rhinestone (earring) brooch. Serenity’s head piece is heavy wire wrapped with tarnished silver tinsel & tied with more white silk seam binding. On her lap is a burlap heart overlaid with a bit of vintage handmade lace.

Serenity’s name says it all…she’s a girl of calm, peace & tranquility. She is a (OOAK) one-of-a-kind art doll & will not be reproduced. Serenity is for display only…not for the kiddos to play with.
